Candidate of Philology (1994) in the speciality 10.02.01 – Russian language; Professor of the Department of Journalism of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University (2017–present); Academician of the Academy of Higher Education of Ukraine (2024).

Education – Oles Honchar Dnipropetrovsk National University (Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine). I graduated from the Faculty of Philology in 1990, specialising in philology and teaching the Russian language and literature. Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, candidate of (2001–2004), doctoral dissertation 12.04.2007, topic “Media Tools in the Process of Forming the Image of Politicians” in the speciality 10.01.08 – Journalism.

Author of 480 scientific publications, including 57 monographs, textbooks, teaching aids, and lecture courses. 42 foreign publications in Austria, Cameroon, Poland, Serbia, USA, Czech Republic, Hungary) (see https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=j6WTMqoAAAA J&hl=en).

Deputy Director, Head of the Publishing and Editorial Department of the NGO “Scientific and Educational Center “USPISHNYI”. Co-editor of the scientific journal “Social Communications: Theory and Practice” (from 2015 to present). First Deputy Chairman of the All-Ukrainian Association of Psycholinguists (from 2008 to present). Member of the Communication Association of Eurasian Researchers – eurasianresearchers.com. Member of the Ukrainian branch of the journalism section of the European Communication Scientific and Educational Association ECREA (from 2022).
