Students majoring in Journalism have the opportunity to study under the ERASMUS+ and other academic exchange programs.
Academic staff studied abroad and completed international internships, systematically participate in conferences and other scientific events abroad. In particular, Natalia Marchuk, associate professor of the Department of Journalism, in 2014 received a Licentiate degree in Social sciences from the Pontifical University of Thomas Aquinas “Angelicum” (Rome, Italy). Associate Professor Solomiia Khorob studied at the University of Warsaw (Republic of Poland) in 2014 under the “Artes liberalis” program.
Ruslana Savchuk, PhD, completed an internship at the University of Warsaw (Republic of Poland), research topic “Linguo-stylistic markers of informativeness in modern printed media (based on Ukrainian and Polish texts)” in 2017. She also completed an internship at the Higher School of Linguistics (Czestochowa, Republic of Poland), the topic of scientific research was “The linguistic-stylistic features of modern media texts” in 2019–2020.
Professor Hanna Marchuk completed кesearch internship at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań in the field of practical journalism. She gave a course of lectures “Ukrainian media landscape. Tendencies of development” in 2018.
Nataliya Marchuk, PhD, completed an international teaching internship under the Erasmus+ staff mobility agreement at the University of Opole (Poland) i 2022.
Solomiia Khorob, PhD, completed an internship in 2022 at the Białystok State University (Republic of Poland) “Academic and scientific activities in a modern university: challenges, solutions, prospects”.
In 2023, Tetyana Shlemkevych and Igor Debenko completed an international internship at the Baltic International Academy (Republic of Latvia) on the topic “Modern approaches to training specialists in the field of journalism, advertising and PR”.
Natalia Shoturma, PhD, participated in the training course program for teachers of journalism departments of Ukrainian universities “Journalism in Wartime” within the framework of the project “Improving the Quality of Training of Young Journalists in Ukraine”, organized by AMO – the Czech NGO “Association for International Affairs” with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic in 2024.
Teachers and students of Journalism Department also participate in numerous international conferences, symposia and other scientific events.
